Working with Recruiters

How much do you know about the secretive world of the executive recruiter?  What really motivates them?  How are they remunerated?  How should you ideally interact with recruiters and how much can you trust them?  Can you actually get them to work proactively on your behalf, and if so, how?  These are some of the questions our expert will discuss in this segment.

Preparing for Interviews

Some personalities prefer to wing interviews and “just be themselves.”  Others over prepare and sound like recordings.  What is the right level of preparation for you and your opportunities?  What mental and physical steps should you consider as contemplate the up-coming discussion?  Our session will help you answer these questions and be far better prepared.

Excelling in Interviews

How attentive are you to the many signals an interviewer might well throw out before, during, and after an interview?  Can you read your interviewer, anticipate his line of questioning, and possibly redirect the interview onto subjects where you shine?  If so, how?  Can you recover an interview that has not gone the way you hoped?  These are some of the subjects we will explore during this segment.

Negotiating Your Package

Now it gets serious.  You have received an offer.  It is interesting but perhaps not exactly what you had in mind.  Do you dare negotiate?  If so, how, and what?  Our expertdiscusses these and related questions to help you approach the negotiation with a clearer appreciation of the considerations your prospective employer may bring to the discussion, and how you might best achieve your objectives.
