GDPR Compliance at TBG

As you will have heard, the European Union enacted and adopted legislation in May 2018 that prescribes a number of requirements intended to protect consumers’ and businesses’ data that are known under the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR. The United Kingdom’s exit from the EU further complicated the data protection environment and now necessitates further requirements. TBG is active in Europe and therefore any vendors, associates, or employees of TBG who may process or control prospect or client data are required to confirm that they will abide by the requirements of GDPR. The main instrument of this confirmation is a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) that will be entered into and added to whatever underlying contract the vendor, associate or employee may have already entered into with TBG.
